its_aqua | My mother has an ad because she is looking for a second employee for her pharmacy. She is into astrology so people have been sending their C.Vs on my e-mail and have included their birthday and is going to check their charts soon. What aspects should be present between my mum's chart and her future employee, to ensure they will have a good collaboration? Also what aspecfs/placement make someone hard-working and honest? She is searching specifically for someone who will be persuasive and good at selling beauty stuff- so which placements would make for a person who is good at selling stuff and make people buy stuff? |
Kerosene | Gemini's are good salesmen. They can sell anything.Just find a gem lady that likes makeup. Maybe with a libra or taurus moon. You should post their charts on here sometime. Should be interesting. My dad is a good salesmen he has libra moon. I would go with that. A gemini sun with a libra moon. Maybe with a gem or libra asc. Those two ascs tend to be the most sociable yet friendly. They aren't threatening. |

Yeah I was thinking of Geminis too, but my mother who is a Cappy doesnt really like them due to some bad experience with people who used to be her friends. Im gonna post their charts as soon as I have many mails, so far there is only a Scorpio lady! Hehe my mum is quite bossy so she wants someone who wont be much of a "rebel"

geea | im sorry but i dont consider this to be fair and normal. I put up some time ago a link with cases in asia where people where rejected at job interviews because of their astro sign. Someone told me once how she was rejected because she is a taurus. She was perfect for the job but the lady who hired, said that ”she had to many problems with taurus in the the past so..no!” Thats not normal imo. ------------------ ☨ ♎A♏☾♌ ☨ |

Sorry its aqua, I find this highly discrimating. Astrology shouldn't be used to cause bias or prejudice because you are clearly using astrological placements to carry a selection of candidates for a job, this is not a fair practice.

I see where you coming from and I cant say that you're not right. Nobody is going to be discriminated because they're simply Taurus or Libra for instance. The whole chart is going to be taken into consideration, as well as the synastry. It may sound stupid or unfair maybe but my mother is at least very punctual with the payment of her employees and provides them with a good working enviromment. So yeah, I dont believe it's that bad taking a look at a persona chart. After all, all bosses make descriminations when they are about to employ someone they just dont tell.

Kerosene | Please, people hire others based on appearance and race... Unless you have an incredible resume/experience these things are bound to happen. |

Come on Jess, I mean wouldnt everyone on here ask their candidate whats their sign? Im not saying its gonna be based solely on signs, for gods shake. Of course experience and knowledge are first to take into consideration. But if two people have same experience+knowledge, wouldnt be better to choose the one who would "click" better with my mother ? Synastry will only show things, that sooner or later are going to come on the surface right Jess? |

Exactly, plus of course somebody with a better CV is not going to be rejected because somebody less good is a Capricorn for instance. We're talking about people who are the same good. |
Jessica2407 | We regret to inform that your application for the post of ---------- has been rejected because you are a Leo as Leos have the reputation to be obnoxious, egomaniacs and suspiciously vain. Should we have a vacant post for vain leos, rrest assure we shall contact you. We will keep your contact details. (duh) (sucks) |
Kerosene | Everyone loves leo's lmao. People complain about them when they start acting up. Honestly it's hard not to like a leo unless they're really being a dick. |
12muddy | mecury conjunct pluto. I know a few people with this aspect and they can be very persuasive. venus on the ascendant. these people can be pleasant and easy going. |
geea | @its_aqua, yes, but if i were in your mothers place, id select my candidates, give them a chance to try so i could decide if the are fit for the job and only, after that id take the synastry in consideration. Im the first to admit that i discriminate based on someones chart. Thats why sometimes i choose not to look at it so i wont get influenced. Its impossible to be objective. (for eg, i didnt make my synastry with my own bf until recently) but then again, im a libra, everyone is innocent until proven guilty ------------------ ☨ ♎A♏☾♌ ☨ |

its_aqua | Guys! First of all, everyone will come and see him/her in flesh , and will be given a try-out. Most employees dont even pay tryouts- but my mother does. Its not like she runs a huge company, its a family pharmacy and she will be cutting from our home expenses in order to pay this second employee to help her. So I think its her right to check natal charts if that makes her feel more comfortable. And again it's not like, you are a Leo- leave! Its more like "your Neptune squares my Sun so I may be desilusioned". After all, shes going to choose only one, signs is the last thing to check. I just wanted to know placements/aspects in natal and synastry because a boss-employee relationship is different from a love relationship or a friendship. |
Kerosene | For synastry look for their 6th house and 10th house rulers. Especially for a professional relationship, |
Doux Rêve | What Kerosene said. Look at 6th / 10th house overlays. Also, Jupiter and Saturn aspects. Natally, 12muddy mentioned Mercury / Pluto and I agree with that for the persuasion skills. An Air ASC is more friendly and communicative. |

Im not sure she is gonna ask them BOT, do you think it would be essential right?! |
Doux Rêve | Nah, it doesn't have to be. Your mother's houses are a good indication already. |
Jessica2407 | @its aqua I guess it's makes sense as yours is a personal business ya? Astrology ( natal placements + synastry) will def give you an idea of how the dynamics would play out between employee and employer. BUT what if you REALLY like someone like your instinct is telling to choose A but when you check the synastry it's not that great while the one that really click astrologically comes with not a great recomendation or it may just be that you don't like them.what then? |

Yeah, its our family-run small business. The point you make is fine though-if you really like someone wont that be somehow explained astrologically? But yeah I understand what you mean
